Sylvester Williams, Bruce Huntington <br />Agenda: Bill No. 12 -08 Special Exception 730 & 734 29th Street <br />Bill No. 12 -09 Special Exception 1902 Western Avenue <br />Bill No. 12 -08 — Special Exception 730 & 734 29h Street <br />Noting three of four members of the Zoning & Annexation Committee present, <br />representing a quorum, Chairperson Oliver Davis opened by asking Mark Lyons to give <br />the report from the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA). <br />Mark reported that the BZA gave the request a unanimous favorable recommendation. <br />Only one nearby resident spoke in support at the BZA hearing and one against who <br />expressed parking concerns. <br />Oliver then recognized Bernie Feeney representing the petitioners for the formal <br />presentation. Using a spiral bound handout (attached) Mr. Feeney noted 46 neighbors <br />had voiced support and the parking concerns had been addressed with off street parking <br />at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. <br />Opening for Council questions, Oliver recognized Karen White who complemented Mr. <br />Feeney for his thorough presentation. <br />Councilmember Gavin Ferlic motioned a favorable recommendation seconded by <br />Councilmember Varner and affirmed by all. <br />
