REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 28, 2012 66 APPROVE CLAIMS Mr. Inks stated that a request to pay the following claims in the amounts indicated has been received by the Board; each claim is fully supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Roos seconded the motion, which carried. RECESS Mr. Gilot made a motion to recess the meeting at 10:35 a.m. for five (5) minutes for setting a time and date for reconvening the meeting to open and read the bids for the Coveleski Stadium and the Black and White and Color Copiers. Mr. Inks seconded the motion, which carried. RECONVENED MEETING FEBRUARY 29, 2012 The Board of Works meeting was reconvened at 10:50 a.m. Mr. Gilot informed those present the Board would reconvene in this same room at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, February 29, 2012, to open and read the copier bids, and award the Coveleski Stadium bid. Mr. Bill Schalliol announced all of the bidders had obtained authorized signatures on the Non - Collusion, Non - Discrimination forms, for the Coveleski Stadium. Therefore, Mr. Gilot stated those bids would be read. OPENING OF BIDS --- COVELESKI STADIUM REHABILITATION — 2012 IMPROVEMENTS — PROJECT NO. 112 -007 (SBCDA TIF) This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News, which were found to be sufficient. Ms. Greene, Board Attorney, reviewed the bids and confirmed that all of the Non - Collusion forms were present and none of the bidders submitted a Local Preference Form.
