313 Board met in regular suss ion at '7: 15 P. M..All members present, Hearing had . on.assessment roll Cnd final estimate for sheet asphalt ' -pavement on Studebaker Street from Linden Avenue to La Porte Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 652. IN the City of 'South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written - remonstrance was filed. The. Bard therefore Lind that the property assessed in said, roll filed November 18th. ,1919 is benef itted In the amount of assessments as shown on said assessment roll and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed November l8th. ,1919 and the final estimate allowed November 1pth..,1919 should be and the same Is hereby in all things,. rattified, conPirmed and approved. And the Board ordired the City Controller to withhold the scum of'$250.00 out of funds owing the Contractors on this improvement until, the necessaary repairs are made, Re►presentativess -of the -South Bend Canon Club appeared before the Board with the f ollowin property owners, H. F. Armstrong, 735 E. Bronson St J. B. Hier 739 E. Bronson Street, Wm. M. Garfield 733 Bronson Street and Gilbert R. Archambeault_ of 740 E. Bronson Street and sevarsul'other property owners. Members- of the Canoe Club that theey wanted.to move club house to property, owned by City,,,, property owners stated that they d)id not object to this. The Board agreed to write a letter. in regerd .t o the permission n. to set club house on, City property.. Communication recevved from Kale & Bryan Co. in regard to price on signs for offices in the City Hall at $5. 00 each. Same read and placed on file. Communication received from E. H. Potter, Agt. Now York Central ry. Co. stating that the crossing at Walnut axd 'Ford Streets had been completed November 20t'h. ,1919. Samp read and placed on file. Insurance policy No. 290892 for the amount of $1, 000.00 for the insurance on City House at 224 No. Tw in Street vistas ",tpve_d by the Board. -- - -- -- - Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Asp halt is Concrete pavement on South Bend Avenue from Eddly Street to ,East City Limits, under mprov*meat Resolution No. , 622.
