<br />Resolved rby the Board of Public Narks of the City of South Bond,,*
<br />St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, That it, s deemed necessary to improve Beale
<br />Street fromPorts,ge Avenuo to Kes slor Btoul•eva'rd as follows, to -wit:
<br />Said Street shall
<br />be graded from property line to property line to the established grade, curblaag, the
<br />roadway with, cement curb and constructing cement sidewalk on both sides of said Beale
<br />Street; all - .s is more, particularly hown and all in accordance; with the plans p
<br />nrofiles, detail, drawings and specif'i-_ations on file' in .the office of the Department
<br />of Public storks.
<br />The cast .of said improvement, including tli cast of street and alley
<br />Intersections, sha? 1 be assessed upon the real estate abutting on said Beale Street
<br />all according to the method and manner provided for in an act of t.,he General assonbly
<br />of the State off' Indiana, entitled " An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations,"
<br />approved March 5,1905, and in accordance with and pursuant to the prov is ions of all
<br />amendatory abd supplemental sets therete, passed by the General Assembly of the State
<br />of Indiana. Assessments, if deferred, are to be aid in ten equal annual installment
<br />with interest at the rate of Six per cent per annum. A bond or bonds, shall be issud
<br />to the contractor in payment of such work, unless the property owners pay said assess
<br />ment before said band or bonds abe issued.
