<br />SIDEWALK Ib'IPROVEMeNT RESOLUTION NO. 6.
<br />Resolved by the Board of Public Wocks of the City of South Bend,
<br />St. Joseph County, S-c,&te of Sndiana, That is is desired necessary to improvement Main
<br />Street foam Ewing Avenue to the south line of Woodside Streert as f011Ows, to -wit: �-
<br />Said Straat shell be graded from property line to property line to the
<br />established grade, curbing the roadway with comet curb and c onstruct im.g cement sidewalk
<br />on both sides of said Main Strff*t; all as is m©ra }�articulerly► shaavx� and all in accordance
<br />with the plans, profiles, detail drawizgLs and spec if icag ions on file in the eff ito of
<br />the Depe,rtment of Public Work of the City of South Bond, Indiana i.
<br />The cost of said improvement, litcluding the cast of street and alloy
<br />intersections, shall be assessed upon the teal notate abutting or. said Main Street
<br />all according to the method and manner provid*d for in an Act of the Generil Assembly
<br />of the State of Indiana, entitled " An Act Concerning Municipal Corjerat ions," approved
<br />March 5,1905, and in accordance with and pursuant to the providiens of aLl amendatory
<br />and supplemental acts theroto, passed by the Gensr4l Assembly of the State of Indiana,
<br />Assessments if deferred, are to be paid in ten equal annusly instr*llments, with inter-
<br />.st at the rate of s tt per cent per annum• A bond or bonds shall be issuod to the con-
<br />tractor in payment of such work, unless the property owners pay said assessment before
<br />said bond or bonds are issued.
