authorities; and revise the Drawings and Specifications in response to directives from such <br />authorities. <br />4. Perform or provide the following additional Final Design Phase tasks or deliverables: <br />a. Bid Document Format <br />1) The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Format will be used for the general <br />conditions, contract, bidding and technical specifications. <br />2) Civi13D Version 2014 will be used to develop the Contract Drawings. <br />3) The Bid Documents will be prepared such that all items will be bid on a single lump <br />sum basis. <br />b. Demolition Plans and Specifications <br />1) The Engineer will develop the demolition plans and specifications. <br />2) The Project plans and specifications shall be limited to the work identified herein <br />for the demolition of the buildings and miscellaneous structures that presently <br />exist at the facility. Items will be specified to be demolished or to be abandoned <br />in place as may be directed by the Owner based on future development plans. <br />3) The Engineer will document, to a reasonable extent, all known major demolition <br />items as identified by Owner. It is known and understood that based on the age <br />and size of the Project facility, as well as, the sporadic documentation of the <br />existing facilities, that a significant number of items will remain undocumented <br />and left to the potential bidders to research for bidding purposes. <br />4) Where foundations or existing structures are intended to be abandoned in -place, <br />the Engineer shall specify the depths or conditions to which the foundations or <br />structures will remain or be removed. These plans and specifications shall <br />incorporate the structural information relative to the shoring and bracing of walls <br />where deemed necessary by the Engineer. <br />5) The Engineer shall develop necessary plans and specifications for the <br />abandonment of the existing utility tunnels found on site. <br />c.
