South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br /> Regular Meeting—December 13, 2011 <br /> 3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Ms. King COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br /> and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the SUBMITTED DECEMBER 13,2011,AND ORDERED <br /> Claims submitted December 13, 2011, and ordered THE CHECKS TO BE RELEASED <br /> checks to be released. <br /> 4. COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Mr. Inks noted that there was a communication from LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR DTSB DOWNTOWN <br /> Mr. Terrance Meahan, owner of Fiddler's Hearth, PARKING. <br /> supporting using Downtown South Bend, Inc. to manage <br /> parking in the downtown. <br /> Mr. Inks asked that items 6.B.(1) and (2) be moved to <br /> the top of the agenda to accommodate the schedules of <br /> Mayor Luecke and others. There was no objection and <br /> the items were so moved. <br /> 6. NEW BUSINESS <br /> B. South Bend Central Development Area <br /> (1) Stadium Use, Management and <br /> Operations Agreement by and between the <br /> South Bend Professional Baseball Club, <br /> LLC, the Board of Park Commissioners of <br /> the Park District of the city of South Bend, <br /> and the South Bend Redevelopment <br /> Commission. <br /> Mr. Inks noted that the Silver Hawks team is <br /> in the process of being sold to a new investor <br /> group. The new ownership must still be <br /> approved by baseball league authorities. The <br /> Redevelopment Commission has been asked <br /> contribute up to $1.75 million for further <br /> improvements to the stadium from the South <br /> Bend Central Development Area (SBCDA) <br /> TIF. <br /> Mayor Stephen Luecke noted that the <br /> 5 <br />
