South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br /> Regular Meeting—December 13, 2011 <br /> 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br /> A. Public Hearings <br /> (5) continued... <br /> approved Declaratory Resolution No. 2949 <br /> amending the Development Plan for the <br /> Northeast Neighborhood Development Area. <br /> On November 15, 2011, the St. Joseph <br /> County Area Plan Commission adopted a <br /> resolution approving the Declaratory <br /> Resolution and the Plan Amendment. <br /> On November 28, 2011, the Common <br /> Council of the city of South Bend adopted a <br /> resolution approving the resolution of the <br /> Plan Commission. <br /> Ms. Maradik noted that Resolution No. 2969 <br /> revises sections of the existing Development <br /> Plan, updates the document and modifies <br /> existing plan exhibits in order for the Plan to <br /> better reflect the future goals for the area by <br /> taking into account recent, or soon to be <br /> completed, developments such as, but not <br /> limited to, Eddy Street Commons (Phase I <br /> and II), State Road 23 improvements, and the <br /> new Five Points Intersection configuration. <br /> The amendment will not modify the existing <br /> NNDA boundary. <br /> Ms. Jones opened the public hearing for <br /> whoever wished to speak regarding <br /> Resolution No. 2969. There was no one who <br /> wished to speak. Ms. Jones closed the public <br /> hearing for whatever action the Commission <br /> wished to take. <br /> 24 <br />
