r, development <br />II g �p ies <br />I City of South Bend Fire Department <br />Scope & Fee Proposal <br />• Written outline Performance Specifications briefly describing the <br />DSG engineered systems anticipated to be used for the project by <br />• R.W. Armstrong will provide the civil plan for the proposed <br />systems for water, sewage, storm drainage, off -site connection <br />requirements, construction storm water pollution prevention plan <br />(as required) and utilities <br />• Project Literature and Information by DSG, including but not <br />limited to live fire training props, smoke systems, sound <br />systems, and high temperature lining materials <br />• Preliminary Cost Estimate by DSG: Rough Order of Magnitude <br />(ROM) <br />TASK 1 -2 Design Development <br />The primary intent of this phase is to expound upon the Schematic Phase <br />submittal to a point where the entire project is identified as it relates to each of <br />the disciplines including but not limited to proposed architectural, structural, <br />mechanical, plumbing and site civil & utility requirements. <br />Meetings: <br />o DSG will attend One (1) Working meeting to discuss Design <br />Development Plans with Owner and Project Architect TEAM in <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Deliverables: <br />o DSG will provide Design Development (DD) Drawings at 95% <br />Completion level for the proposed Buildings, internal equipment <br />layout, overall shell building Structural system design concepts <br />and Site improvements <br />o DSG will provide complete Specifications Sections for Training <br />Related elements, including but not limited to Light Systems, <br />Smoke Systems, Computer Controlled Live Fire Props, <br />Ventilation Systems, High Temperature Thermal Lining <br />o DSG will provide Mechanical, Electric & Plumbing System <br />Design Criteria and Guidelines, including product literature, cut <br />sheet information and performance design <br />o DSG will provide the appropriate vendor facility interface <br />drawings which depict installation requirements for computer <br />controlled live fire props <br />o DSG will provide a 3D fly through of the South Bend Fire <br />Department Training Center <br />o R. W. ARMSTRONG will provide (DD) drawings for civil, <br />structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and landscaping, <br />coordinating with architectural for this phase.
