<br />STREET OR ALLEY IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO.. 1111
<br />Be it Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of Soush
<br />Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, that, it is desired and deemed necessary to
<br />improve Lafayette Street from Marquette Avenue to Wakewa Avenue, Also: Marquette Avenue
<br />from Lafayette Street to Iroquois Street, Also: Wakewa Avenue from Lafayette Street
<br />to Iroquois Street as follows, topwit:_
<br />Said streets and Avenues shall be graded and the
<br />roadways thereof shall be paved, and also the roadways 6 certain portions of the
<br />street and alleys which enter or intersect said streets and avenues shall be graded ad
<br />and paved. The paving material to be used in making said improvement -shall be Sheet
<br />Asphalt, Bitulithic,- Asphaltic.concrete, Brick, or portland cement concrete pavement sic
<br />seven (7) inches thick, and the foundation shall be. portland cement concrete six (6) inch
<br />thick foethe sheet asphalt, . asphaltic concrete, bitulithic and -brick, also cement curb sha
<br />shall be constructed along said streets and avenues where same is necessary and not
<br />already constructed, and avenues where same is necessary and _not already constructed,
<br />manholes, storm water."inlets•and conduits shall be constructed where necessary, all manho
<br />manhole tops and storm water inlets shall be set to the proper grade, cement marginal curb
<br />shall be constructed at all street and alley intersections where necessary, all as is more
<br />particiatarly shown and all in accordance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings and
<br />specification-s on file in the Office of the Department of'Public Works of the City of
<br />.South Bend, Indiana..
