W. Hammond City Attorney to secure <br />appraisers to see what compromise could"be made on this suit. <br />Wm, S; Moore appeared representing the Sunnyside Manor <br />Addition and presented petitions and waivers for sewers and grade, curb and walk <br />on streets in Sunnyside Manor Addition to City. Board deferred action on this <br />matter until Wednesday February 28th., 1923 at 7:15 P.M. <br />Petition filed for sewer on B mboldt, Street from Cleveland <br />Avenue to 184 feet east of Cleveland Avenue, Resolution ordered. <br />Petition filed for sewer on Ewing Avenue from Miami Street <br />to Clyde Street, Resolution Nodered, <br />At r W. 8. Carlisle representing Anderson, Parker <br />Crabill and Crumpacker "Iblo rneft for the Ward Baking Company. appeared before the <br />Board and presented petitien'for vacation of the alley extending in a northerly <br />direction from the south line of Broadupy to south line of Lot #30 in Stull's <br />3rd. Addition. Same placed on file and a trip of investigation to be made., <br />Amended remonstrance received read and placed on file again <br />against the vacation of alley in Ward's Sub -Division. <br />Petition received read and resolution ordered for sewer on <br />Randolph Street from Caroline Street to Robinson Street and Dayton Street from <br />Varoline Street to 394 feet east.of Caroline Street. <br />Petition received and filed for light on Division: Street <br />from McPherson Street to Laurel Street referred to Pole and Wire Inspector for <br />report. <br />Petition filed for sewer on Ewing Avenue from Miami Street <br />to Clyde Street. Same filedq approved and resolution ordered. <br />The following resolutions were adopted by the Board. <br />LOCAL SnTR IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1090. <br />Resolved by the Beard of Public Works of the City of South Bend, <br />County of St. Joseph, State of Indiana, That the construction of a local sewer, <br />intended aid adapted only far local use by the property holders whose.property <br />abuts thereon, and not intended or adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral <br />drains, be and the same is hereby ordered in and along Pleasant Street from <br />Eighteenth Street to Nineteenth Street as follows, to -wit: -- <br />Beginning at the inter <br />section of the center line of Eighteenth Street and Plesant Street; thence east <br />along the center line of Pleasant Street to a point 72 feet west of the west line <br />of Nineteenth Street with a ten (10) inch vitrified pipe sewer. Together with th <br />the necessary manholes, storm water inlets, conduits and house connections to the <br />ularb line along.the line of said improvement, all as is more particularly shown <br />and all in accordance with the Plans, profiles, detail drawings and specification <br />on file in the Office of the Department of Public Works of the City of South Bend <br />Indiana. <br />
