<br />The City Engineer dubmitted the list, of property owners in the

<br />matter of an appropriation of certain property under Condemnation Resolution No,
<br />zff ,Os 1 F 4 Aof this 10th. record for the -COND uENATION OF LAND FOR
<br />AVENUE AND CHAPIN STREET FROM SRUCE STREET TO CALVERT
<br />STREET in the City of South Bend, Indiana, which list includes the names of the
<br />owners and holders of prperty and of interests sought to be taken or baneticially
<br />or injuriously affected, and the description of the several pieces of property wi
<br />which is affected by said apprOPTIAtio_n .p__ro_"_adings
<br />Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained
<br />and to assess the benefits accruing to each piece of property on said list.
<br />It *ss theTeupo:+, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimous
<br />ly adopted, resolved"that said list, together with the amount -of benefits and
<br />damages and the benefits and net damages -therein set forth as the several parcels
<br />of land be adopted and that the respective amount of benefits contained'in said
<br />list lie and are hereby assessed against the several tracts of land as specially
<br />set forth in said list be and are hereby awarded to the several tracts of land
<br />as speciafally set forth in said list, and that net benefits or net damages, as th
<br />the case may be as to the respective tracts of land, contained in said list are
<br />hereby awarded or assessed, as the case may be as to the said several tracts of
<br />land.
<br />The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages each
<br />against the other where both bone its and damages are assessed, against the same
<br />"piece of property, tract of land Qr interests, and hereby fixes the said respectia
<br />net benefits as the amount that shall be paid by the respective owners as benefits
<br />and further hereby fixes the respective net damages as to the several tracts as th
<br />the amount that, shall be paid to the owners of the respective tract as damages
<br />Thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously
<br />adopted Ue 24-th. day of January 1923 at 7:15 P.U. was fixed as the day on which
<br />this Board will receive or hear remonstrances from perons with regard to the
<br />amount of their respective awards or assessments, and the Clerk of this Bo®rd
<br />was instructed to prepare and cause to be duly and legally given, notices to the
<br />owners of each parcel of property, showing the amount of the assessment or awards
<br />with a description of the property affected, and the date of said hearing.

<br />LOCAL SEWER.IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1080
<br />resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,
<br />County of St. Joseph, State of Indiana, That the constru tion of a local sewer,
<br />intended and adapted only for local use by the property holders whose property
<br />,abuts thereon, and not intended or adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral
<br />drains, be and the same is hereby ordered in and along Victoria Street from
<br />Michigan Street to Fellows Street, as'follows, to -wit:.

<br />section of the center line of Michigan Street and Victoria Street; thence east.
<br />along the center line of Victoria Street to the can ter of St. Joseph Street with
<br />It 15 inch vitrified pipe sewer; thence still east along the center line of Vietort
<br />Street to a point 30 feet west of the west line of Fellows Street with a 12.inch
<br />vitrified pipe sewer, together with the necessary manholes, storm water inlets,
<br />conduits, and house connections to the curb line along the line of said improve-
