<br />Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. L. P. Hardy absent,
<br />This.being.the date set for the meeting of property holders on
<br />Dayton Street between Marine Street and Leer Street for the.discussion of the advisabilt�
<br />of paving Dayton Street this year. Property owners present stated all were in favor
<br />of street being paved. Board a#arded contract as follows:
<br />Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Dayton Street from
<br />Marine Street to Leer Street with asphalt, asphaltic concrete, bitulithiem concrete or
<br />beick, in pursuance to Resolution No. 1021 the Board finds that no petition has been
<br />filed with said Board by a majority in number of the freeholders residing on said,
<br />street to be improved, requesting that it be improved with,a different kind of pavement
<br />than the kind heretofore adopted by the Board in its preliminary order; and the City,
<br />Engineer reports that the White Construction Co, is the lowest Iciest bidder for the kind
<br />of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board, and the Board find that the White Construct
<br />tion Company is tho`lewest, and best bidder and hereby lets the contract for said
<br />improvement to them and orders that said improvement be made with asphaltic concete,
<br />uusing Mexican Asphalt and all proceedings heretofore had in this matter are hereby
<br />*confirmed and ratified.

<br />sewer an Sibley Avenue from Brookfield Street to Wilber Street, in the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana. ,
<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators*appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides
<br />that Lhe benefits to property liable to'be assessed for said improvement are equal to
<br />the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon
<br />takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby
<br />in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 29th. day of
<br />Sept., 1922 and on the 6th. day of October 1922 in the South Bend N4ws Times and South
<br />Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of
<br />said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday October 17th., 1922 at. The Board reserves
<br />the right to reject any and all bids.

<br />Pavement of the alley west ®f William Street from Wayne Street to Division Street
<br />under Improvement Resolution No.. 1059. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />.remonstrance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides
<br />that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to
<br />the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon
<br />takes final action -on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby
<br />in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved. -

<br />the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the
<br />estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes
<br />final action on said resolution as originally adapted and the same is hereby in all
<br />things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
