4l3 <br />.10, <br />Contracts were awarded on the following improvements. <br />Concerning the improvement, od the roadway of Pa in Street from <br />Hine Street to Linden Avenue with asphalt, as 4; : ; c ite, Mulithic, concrete or <br />brick, in pirsuance to resolution No. 1Q09. lhetReafd finds that no petition Yeas been <br />filed with said Board by a majority in number of the freeholders residing on said street <br />to be improved, requesting th t it be improved with a different kind of pavement than <br />the kind heretofore adopted by the Board $A its preliminary order; and the City <br />Engineer reports that the Williston Construction Company is the lowest and best bidder <br />for the kixid of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board, and the ffioard find that the <br />Williston Construction Company is the lowest and best bidder and hereby lets the contract <br />for said improvement to;them, and orders that said improvement be made with Asphaltic <br />Concrete using Mexican Asphalt and all proceedings heretofore had in this matter are here- <br />by confirmed and approved <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC 17ORKS. <br />Attested: - <br />Veronica C. Report approved. <br />Petition for large light at the corner of Cottage Grov,*F Ave me <br />and Oak Street. Place an are light here on a 12 foot mast arm and remove small light. <br />Report approved. <br />The following resolutions were adopted byfthe Board. <br />LOCAL SEWER IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1058. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, <br />County of St. Joseph, State of Indiana, That the construction of a local sewer, intended <br />and adapted onlu for local use by the property holders whose property abuts thereon, <br />and no intended snit or adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral drains, be and <br />the same is hereby ordered in and along Sibley Avenue from Brookfield Street to Wilber <br />Street as follows, to -wit: - <br />Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Brookfield <br />Street and Sibley :Ava nne; thence east along the center line of Sibley Avenue from <br />Brookfield Street::Nlber S.treeJA <br />,= s, to-�vit:� <br />Beginning et the intersection <br />of the center line of Brookfield Street and Sibley Avenue; thence east along hhe center <br />line of Sibley Avenue to a point 50 feet west of the west &f line of College Street <br />12 inch vitrified pipe sewer. Also: Beginning at the intersection of the center line <br />of College Street and Sibley Avenue; thence east along the center line of Sibley Avenue; <br />to the center of Wilber Street with a 12 inch vitrified,pipe sewer, together with the <br />necessary manholes, storm water inlets, conduits acid house connections to the curb line <br />along the -fine of said improvement, all as is more particularly shown and all in accord- <br />ance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings and specifications on file in the office <br />of the Department of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />
