<br />Hearing had on resolution for the pavement of Kendall Street
<br />from Indiana Avenue to Calvert Street, under -Improvement Resolution No. 1044,
<br />In .the City of South Bend, Indiana,
<br />Upon said hearing no remo n strators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed. The Board being fully advised in.the premises, decides
<br />that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are
<br />equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer,
<br />and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally,adoptedand the
<br />same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved,.
<br />Resolved ttrther, that notices be published on, the 7th. day of
<br />September 1922 and on the 14th. day of September 1922 in the South Bend Tribune
<br />and News Times, newspapers of general -circulation in said City and in the
<br />Indianapolis Star,I ndianapoli's, Indiana on the 9th. day of September 1922,
<br />stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvemeA.
<br />up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday September 20th., 1922. The Board reserves the right -
<br />to reject any and all bids.
<br />Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No..1043 for the
<br />Trunk sewer in -,River Park District No.'2, in the .city of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing" no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance w► s filed, And'the Board being fully advised in the premises,
<br />decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement
<br />are equal -to -the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil
<br />engineer, ans thereupon takes final sction on said resolution by modifying same
<br />to eliminate retaining wall and substituting 12 feet of.Twenty four (24") inch
<br />iron pipe and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
<br />as modified.
<br />Resolved further, that notices be published on ti he 7th. day
<br />of September 1922 and on the134ih. day of September 1922 in the South Bend Daily
<br />Tribune and Newsy Times nev-sp per<s cf general circulation in said, City and on
<br />the 9tho day of September 1922 in the Indianapolis, Star, Indianapolis, Indiana
<br />stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improve-
<br />ment up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday September 20th., 1922-. The Board reserves the
<br />right to reject any and all bids.
<br />Hearing had on Vacation Resolution No. 63 for the vacation
<br />og the alley lying between lots 183 and 184 in the ariginel Plat -of South Bend
<br />Indiana from Main Street to the first alley east of Merin Street, in the City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared but no written remora-
<br />strance was filed. The remonstrators appeared and requested that hearing be
<br />deferred until Wednesday September 13th., 1922 at 7:15 P.M. Same deferred by Boad
<br />Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for Pipe
<br />sewer on Oakland Street from St. Joseph River to Mishanraka Avenue, under Improve
<br />Ment Resolution No. 947. In.the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said
<br />roll filed August lst., 1922 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown
<br />on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed August
<br />lst., 1922 and the final estimate allowed August 1st., 1922 should be and the
<br />same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for
<br />pipe serer on Dubail Avenue from Leer Street to Marine Street, under Improvement
<br />Resolution No. 9779 In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no vvrritten
<br />remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in
<br />said roll filed August lst., 19aP is benefited in the amount of such assessments
<br />as shown on the rolls, and the Board further find that, the assessment roll filed
<br />August 1st., 1922 and the final estimate allowed August lst., 1922 should be and
<br />the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
