<br />Genlemen:-
<br />In connection with our contract for paving La Salle 1treet from Main
<br />Street to the Bridge. We are afraid that the operation of cars continuously
<br />over the tracks on this street will have a tendency to possibly break the bond
<br />of the concrete base in view of the large number of trenches which were made
<br />by the vaious utility companies and there will possibly be some settlement over
<br />these trenches.
<br />We feel it, proper to call your attention to this condition in view of
<br />the desire of yourselves and this Company to'secure the best, class of work possi-
<br />ble on this street and trust that you will appreciate our position in bringing
<br />this matter to your attention.
