Board met in regular session at 9:00 A.M. Mr. Albert F. Honer <br />absent. <br />Mayor Eli F. Seebirt met with the Board and.took up the matter of <br />improvement program for the year 1923. The advisability of resurfacing or -repaving of. <br />Lincoln Way East, Lincoln Way West Portage Avenue and South Michigan Street was <br />discussed but no action taken. <br />Mr. J. F. Cole of McHugh & Cole Co, appeared before the Board in <br />regard to replacing brick mnholes by concrete manhole. Board advise4 Mr. Vole to <br />present this in writing and same would be given consideration, <br />Bids were received on the following improvements. <br />Grading of Division Street from Olive Street to City Limits, <br />Bid of h, I4* Bhtts <br />Gradingper cu. yd. 04 <br />Bid of Reith & Riley <br />Grading per cu. yd. .48 <br />Pipe sewer on Humboldt Street. <br />Bid of L. H, Webster <br />tabulation to be <br />10 inch pipe per lin ft. <br />6 inch pipe per lin ft. <br />Manholes, per ft. <br />Manholes, curbs and covers, each <br />Storm water inlets, each <br />All of the above bids were referred <br />reported back Wednesday September 6th.9 <br />2.80 <br />.80 <br />7.50 <br />18.50 <br />10.00 <br />to thw City Engineer for <br />1922, at 7:15 P.M. <br />Permission granted on petition for frontage consent for <br />erection of a six room garage to be built of hollow tile and stucco at rear of 818 <br />No. Michigan Street, given to Ella Waldsehmidt. - <br />Partial estimate No. 1 allowed Staples & Ackerman for pipe sewer <br />on Taylor Street from Indiana Avenue to Calvert Street at....,....,.,$2,e50.18 <br />Partial estimate allowed Williston Construction Company for <br />Pavement on Main Street from Indiana Avenue to Ewing Avenue at ...... $ 99706.95 <br />Exacatian. bond for the sum of $19000.00 filed by the American: <br />Plumbing Co, and News Amsterdam Casualty Co. as sureties was approvers by the Board. <br />Grade approved fo the 1st, alley east of Pabtowatomis Park from <br />Mishdvmka Avenue to center line of Wall Street. <br />Fincial report of Cemetery Sexton filed. <br />The awgrding of the contracts on Carroll Street and Pagin <br />Street were deferred until Wednesday September 6th.9 1922 at 7:15 P.M. <br />Request to set poles and anchors referred to the Pole and Wire <br />in spector. <br />Petition filed by G. A. Ream, Mgr. Michigan Avenue Lumber Co <br />for the vacation of the alley lying between lots 44 and 45,46, 47 & 48 Kauffman <br />Place Add. extending from Rupel Street to 1st. alley south. Same approved by the Board. <br />This bein the date set for the deferred.hearings on New York <br />Central Ry. Company plans ancT estimate for grade and track separation in this City and: <br />-other track separation matters. The Board deferred this hearing until October 3rd. <br />1922 at 10:00 A.M. <br />
