p� 614,539A181 <br />tf: 800,282,5113 <br />Remounts: Remounts performed by HEVC are warranted for one (1) year from the date of the remount or 24,000 <br />miles, whichever occurs first. If the ambulance body is rechassised by HEVC during the original warranty period, <br />the structural warranty will be revalidated an additional five (6,) years from the expiration of the original warranty <br />period. Bodies rechassised subsequent times will be warranted an additional five (5) years from the date the body <br />was last rechassised. Any rechass,is or body modification work performed by an unauthorized party will void this <br />warranty. <br />Exclusions and Limitations <br />These warranties extend only to standard HEVC features and published standard HEVC options. Special options <br />and features not part of HEVC's published option list shall be subject to such warranty, if any, as HEVC may <br />designate in writing in each specific case. <br />HEVC's warranty does not include the chassis or chassis parts. The warranty does not include normal -wear parts <br />such as tires, batteries, bulbs, or upholstery. Warranty coverage of special option components will be considered <br />on a case -by -case basis with the terms given in writing, Warranty coverage is based upon reasonable <br />maintenance, prompt notification of defects. This warranty will not cover defects resulting from misuse, negligence, <br />accident, or overloading the vehicle beyond, its weight rating. All warranty repairs must be made by HEVC or a <br />party authorized by HEVC. This warranty does not cover work that was not performed by HEVC. <br />HEVC's warranty does not cover travel expenses, towing charges, mileage, down time, or personnel time <br />associated with warranty repairs. HEVC shall have no obligation to provide a replacement vehicle. <br />HEVC shall determine the extent of warranty repairs. <br />Horton Emergency Vehicles reserves the unrestricted right at any time and from time to time to make changes in <br />the design of, and/or improvements on its products without thereby imposing any obligation on itself to make <br />corresponding changes or improvements in or on its products theretofore manufactured. <br />This manufacturer's warranty is provided in place of any and all other representations or express or implied <br />warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability. No person is authorized to make any other or further <br />representation or warranty on behalf of Horton Emergency Vehicles or any of its Dealers. Your right to service and <br />replacement of parts on the terms expressly set forth herein are your exclusive remedies and neither the <br />manufacturer nor any of its Dealers shall be liable for damages, whether ordinary, incidental, or consequential. <br />Warranty Revalidation <br />Within 60 days of transfer of ownership of an HEVC vehicle by the original purchaser, HEVC's warranty may, be <br />revalidated provided that the original or subsequent owner has the vehicle inspected by HEVC or its authorized <br />dealer and completes and files a warranty revalidation form available from HEVC. Upon subsequent transfer of <br />ownership, this warranty may be revalidated in the same manner, provided that it has been revalidated on each <br />preceding transfer. The warranty is valid beginning from the date of the original manufacture and expires at the <br />conclusion of the original warranty term. <br />Filing a Warranty Claim <br />HEVC makes available a standard warranty claim. Service centers may use a claim form that fits their needs but, it <br />must provide all the information stated in this section, "Filling a Warranty Claim", <br />A warranty claim must be completed so that it stands on its own. In other words, it must be treated as a legal and <br />financial document that can be understood by anyone reading it. <br />The claim must be written in such a way so that it can be determined� <br />What was the symptom? <br />What was the cause? <br />How was it repaired? <br />How much time did the repair take? <br />What parts were used in the repair? <br />3800 McDowell Road <br />Giove City, MI 43123 <br />
