All retroreflective materials <br />required shall conform to the requirements of ASTM D 4956, Standard <br />specification for Reflective sheeting for Traffic Control, Section 6. 1.1 for Type I <br />Sheeting. All retroreflective materials used to satisfy the requirements of 15.9.3.1 <br />that are colors not listed in ASTM D 4956, Section 6. 1. 1, shall have a minimum <br />coefficient of retro reflection on 0 with observation angle of 0.2 degrees and <br />entrance angle of -4 degrees. Fluorescent yellow and fluorescent yellow -green <br />retroreflective materials used to meet the requirements shall conform to the <br />minimum requirements specified for yellow Type I Sheeting in ASTM D 4956, <br />Section 6. 1. 1. Any printed or processed retroreflective film construction -used to <br />meet the requirements shall conform to the standards required of an integral <br />colored film as specified in ASTM D 4956, Section 6. 1. 1. <br />Stripes shall be 6" reflective material in alternating colors. The chevron pattern <br />stripes shall slant downward on both sides of the vehicle at an angle of 45 <br />degrees, pointing in the direction of the bottom rear comers of the tailboard. The <br />pattern shall resemble an inverted V with the point of the V pointing at the top <br />center of the apparatus. <br />Chevron pattern shall be applied to the entire rear of the apparatus. <br />Roof Star, White Border, Installed, Std Model Only <br />ROOF TOP MARKINGS <br />A "Star of Life" of not less that 32 inches and conforming to KKK-1 822F section <br />3.16.4.0 shall be installed on the ambulance rooftop. <br />Graphics installed by 24-7 <br />Graphics will be done to match the existing fleet. <br />ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: Circuitboard <br />ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS <br />The emergency medical vehicle's electrical system must meet KKK -A- 18 22-F <br />Section 3.7. 1. This agency will specify systems, components, materials, and <br />production methods within this section. However, a failures can occur whether the <br />vehicle is under warranty or outside the warranty parameters. This agency <br />operates the vehicle on a twenty four hours a day, seven day a week (24/7) basis. <br />Therefore, the primary manufacturer will provide a local service facility during <br />regular business hours and a 24/7 support service staffed by trained technicians to <br />assist this agency. <br />10083-0016 08/27/18 <br />26 <br />
