Additional gusset plates shall be <br />.250 inch aluminum and shall be welded at all contact points between the comer <br />assembly and the roof perimeter. <br />This agency is extremely concerned with purchasing a vehicle from a primary <br />manufacturer who can provide the necessary service after sale. Therefore, as <br />previously stated the modular shall have a fifteen year warranty and be <br />engineered, designed and built by the primary manufacturer. <br />This agency is extremely concerned that the modular body be designed and built <br />with the highest level of integrity and quality, Documentation and certification <br />that the modular body being proposed meets Static Load Test Code for <br />Ambulance Body Structure AMD Standard 001 must be included with this <br />proposal. <br />Ouality and Safety Documentation. <br />The ambulance manufacturer responding to this vehicle specification shall <br />demonstrate to this Agency that the ambulance being proposed offers the highest <br />possible quality and safety standards. <br />To meet this Agency's requirements for quality the Bidder shall provide <br />documentation that the ambulance manufacturer has in place a quality <br />management system that meets the requirements of the International Organization <br />for Standardization (ISO). A copy of the ISO Registration Certificate shall be <br />included in the bid response. <br />To meet this Agency's requirements for safety standards the Bidder shall provide <br />documentation that the ambulance manufacturer has conducted "dynamic" testing <br />to validate the design, manufacturing processes, materials and workmanship used <br />in the production of the ambulance proposed in response to this specification. <br />To validate the materials, manufacturing processes, quality management system <br />and workmanship utilized in the installation of seats, seat belts, secondary <br />restraining devices, cabinet construction, oxygen cylinder retention and module to <br />chassis attachment a Hygee sled test shall be performed. This test shall simulate a <br />frontal impact to the ambulance module at a minimal impact force of 20 g. A test <br />report from a third party testing agency independent of the ambulance <br />manufacturer shall be submitted with the bid response proving compliance to this <br />requirement. <br />To validate the materials, manufacturing processes, quality management system <br />and workmanship utilized in the construction of the modular body the Bidder <br />10083-0016 08/27/18 <br />8 <br />
