Manufacturer's Qualifications_ All of our vehicles (except for the chassis) are100% manufactured here at our Manasquan, NJ location. No work is subcontracted to others. Components such as sirens and lighting, are manufactured by others and installed in the vehicles during the manufacturing process here in, NJ. We manufacture high quality innovative emergency vehicles designed to meet our customer's needs with the utmost in safety and high value. Our modular ambulance models are built under the Medallion (Type 111), Classic (Type 1) and Titan (medium duty) lines. We utilize all chassis, brands approved for ambulances; Ford, Chevrolet, International, Freightliner, Dodge, GMC. Our products are distributed through 19 Dealers throughout the country; in the East/Mid Atlantic region from Maine through Virginia, North Carolina and into Florida, West through Ohio,, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Colorado and Texas. We are a proud 1988 charter member of the Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier program and have recently received a close to perfect score in our 2014 audit/inspection. All vehicles have been certified to meet Federal Specification KKK-1 822A Rev F. and N FPA 1917 for ambulances. We are a 28 year active imember of the AMD (Ambulance Manufacturers Division) of NTEA (National Truck Equipment Association). As well as an MVP member of the: NTEA. Deborah Thomson is a current Executive Board Member of the AMD. PIL Custom maintains a full service department to provide repair services to our local and out of state customers. We are a Ford Authorized Warranty Center since 1989 and provide high levels of diagnostic support to our Dealers & Customers. We are an authorized drop ship location for Ford, Chevrolet, International, Freightliner and Dodge. We maintain a fully stocked parts department and a full time Technical Service Manager to support our Dealer & customers after they have taken delivery of their new ambulance or rescue vehicle. Our customer's vehicles are protected with Lifetime Electrical and Structural Integrity Warranties. Fulll descriptions of our warranties are included in this bid submission.
