<br />This being the date set for hearing roll (ff awards of damages and
<br />assessments of benefi,s for the vacation of alley in Rankert & Egglestonts SuvJivision
<br />under Vacation Resolution No. 56 adopted September�7th.; 1929>, in the City of South
<br />Bnend, Indians.
<br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
<br />strance was filed. The Board deferred action on said roll until Wednesday August 30th
<br />1922 3�t 7:15 P.M.
<br />The following resolution was ddopted by the Board.
<br />STREET OR ALLEY IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1056.
<br />Be It Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the Cit.of.South Bend,
<br />St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, that it is desired and deeded necessary to
<br />improve Alley West of Lafayette Street from Marion Street to Madison Street as follows,
<br />Said alley shall be graded and the roadway thereof shall be paved;
<br />Also the roadway of certain portions of the streets and alleys which enter or
<br />.intersect said street shall bevgraded andpaved, The paving material to be used in
<br />making said improvement shall be Sheet, Asphalt, Bitiluthic, Asphaltic concrete, brick
<br />or portlsnd cement concrete seven (7) inchesthick,, for the sheet asphalt, Bitulithic,
<br />asphaltic concrete and brick, or rolled gravel six E6) inches thick fo the brick, storm
<br />water inlets and conduits shall be .constructed where necessary; all storm water inlets
<br />and manhole tops shall be sect to the proper grade; cement marginal curb shall be construe
<br />ted at all street and alley intersections where `'necessary, all as is more particularly
<br />shown and all -in accordance with the plans, and profiles, detail drawings and specifica-
<br />tions on file,in the office of the Department of>P?lblic Works of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indians.

<br />special assessment- to be levied upon the property specially beneiitted, to the amount that the same may be leg-
<br />ally essessed therefor, in aecoxdance with an Act of the General 'Asseiza'bly of the State of i diana, entitled
