<br />Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. L. B. Slaughter President
<br />absent. L.'P. Hardy Vice President Acting President.
<br />Hearing had on resolution for pipe sewer on Calvert Street and
<br />Kendall Street ..f. rom Chapin Street to Ew° ng .Aveme, under Improvement Resolution
<br />No. 1027.. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing no'remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
<br />strance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides
<br />that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement, are equal
<br />to the estimated Bost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and
<br />thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the
<br />same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further, that notices be published.on the 24th. day of
<br />August 1922 and on the 31st. day of August 1922 in the South Bend News Times and
<br />Tribune, newspapers of general circulation in,said City, stating that this Foard
<br />will. receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesdor
<br />September 12th., 1922. The Board reserves the rbght to reject any and all bids.

<br />Olive Street to Johnson Street, under Improvement Resolutio n No. 1023, In the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon sattdihearing no remonstrant& was filed and no wftonstrators
<br />appeared. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that, the
<br />benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the
<br />estimated cost of the same,as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon
<br />takes final action on said as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all
<br />things, ratified, confirmed. and approved.
<br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 24th. day of
<br />August 1922and on the 31st. day.of August 1922 in the South Bend Tribune and
<br />News Times newspapers of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board
<br />will receive bids for the construction of said improvement d,p.to 10:00 A.M. Tuesdg
<br />September 12th., 1922. The Board resvrres the right to reject any and all bids.

<br />Marine Street to Leer Street, under Improvement Resolution No, 1021.In the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
<br />strance filed And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that
<br />the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to
<br />the estimated cost of the same as.reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereun
<br />upon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is
<br />hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.

<br />strance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides th
<br />that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are
<br />equal to the estimate cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineerm
<br />and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the
<br />same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
