This matter was discussed but no <br /> definite action was taken. <br /> The Accident Prevention Bure�u submitted its report for the month <br /> of February, which report is on file in the office of the Board of <br /> Public Safety. <br /> 4fficer Miller reported on the parking situation in the 1I00 block <br /> on Grace Street and the 500 block on South Chapin where requests have <br /> been made to discontinue the privilege of Oliver enployees from parking <br /> all day. It was decided to direct a communication to the Oliver Farm <br /> �auipment Company requesting their cooperation. <br /> , Officer Miller retiorted in regard to the _Lyric Theatre at <br /> 2220 ti"�estern Avenue th�t according to State I,aw the entrance to this <br /> The�ztre should be restricted from parking. <br /> Communication was received f'rom Captain Harold Y�hitmer in v�rhich <br /> he st�_ted that he was expected to purchase some books to be used in <br /> the training course he is now attending. The Board authorized this <br /> purchase and Officer VJhitmer was so notified. <br /> Application for position an the Police Department was received <br /> from Andrew Vincent Daly and ordered placed on file. <br /> WEIGHTS & MEA�URES DEPARTIJIENT - 1V�r.
