Due to the fact that two of these signals are being <br /> operated by the Studebaker Corporation, the Board referred this matter <br /> to n�Tr. Anderson to make sone satisfactory arrangement v�rith the <br /> Studebaker Corporation and the Indiana & T;4ichigan. El.ectric Comp�ny <br /> for payment of the operation of the third signal a�nd to report at the <br /> next meeting. <br /> POLICE DEPARTIvIIIvT - Chief Zane, Officer T�liller a.nd Charles Zillmer <br /> present: <br /> Officer Miller submitted a communication he had addressed to <br /> mersbers of the City Council regardir_g traffic and parking regulation <br /> signs, in which he recommended that to enforce traffic regulations <br /> properly the City should install parking reguZatzon signs and brackets, <br /> and speed limit signs and posts at an approximate e�ense of one <br /> thousr�nd dollars, and cited the fact that revenue from the City Court <br /> had increased and will continue to increase more than sufficient to <br /> cover this expense. Af'ter discussing the matter with the Controlier, <br /> the Board decicted to reouest the Common Council to appropriate this <br /> sus� for this purpose and the City �ttorney was directed to introduce <br /> an Ordinance. <br />
