J'ankowski to the. Police Department <br /> on probation beginning December 16th, end of probation to be June 15th, <br /> subject' to examination by the Police Doctor and appointment as to <br /> duties by the Chief of Police. <br /> Resignation o�' 0�'ficer Edward Tdoritz, dated December l�th, was . <br /> presented to the Board to take effect January 1, 1937. The Board <br /> aecepted this resignation regretting the necessity o�' Officer P�oritz <br /> finding it impossible to continue in his duties as police officer. - <br /> Communication titi�as received from Elmer E. Cook, Principal of the <br /> Thomas Jefferson School, stating that they were enjoying the protection <br /> that the Boy Patrol Signs are givin� the school and he hoped the Board <br /> would continue this and also provide . Boy Patrols for other schools. <br /> It was the concensus of the Board that this was a splendid method of <br /> slovving up traffic and �vhen f'unds can be provided further definite <br /> consideration vai11 be given. <br /> � discussion was had in the Board regarding violation of parking <br /> privileges. It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the <br /> Chief be requested to instruct all members of the Police Force that <br /> they shall not book anyone in Court for violation of overtime parking <br /> for the first offense, but that record shall be kept of all such <br /> violators for future reference. <br /> Application for position on the Police Department was received <br /> from J'ames C. Kroger and ordered placed on file. <br /> Surety bond covering special police con.:-:�ission o�' Robsrt L. Kizer <br /> was approved. . <br /> I�4eeting adjourned at 11:30 A.
