156 <br />E. <br />Concerning the improvement of the oadway of Irvingtmn Avenue -from <br />Michigan Street to Fellows Street with asphalt, asphaltic concrete, bitulithie, <br />concrete or brick in pursuance to Resolution No. 954 the Board finds that no petition <br />has been filed with -said Board'by a majority in number of the freeholders residing <br />on said street to be improved, requestng that it b.e improved with a fifferent kind of <br />pavement than the kind heretofore adopted by the Board in its preliminary order; and t <br />the City Engineer reports that the -.White Construction Co. is the lowest and best <br />bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board, and tke Board find <br />that the White Construction Co. is the lowest'and best bidder alnd hereby lets the <br />contract for said improvement to hhem and orders that said improvement be made with <br />asphaltic concrete with Mexican Asphalt and all proceedings heretofore had in this <br />matter are hereby confirmed and ratified. <br />L. N. Barnes <br />is the lowest and best bidder forthe kind of pavement heretofore adopted bybthe Board, <br />and the Board find that H. N. Barnes is the lowest and best biddet and hereby_ lets <br />the contract for said improvement to them and orders that said improvement be --made <br />with concrete and all proceedings heretofore had in.this matter are hereby confirmed <br />and ratified. <br />L. N. Barnes it the lowest and <br />best bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore adopted bybthe Board and the Board <br />find that said H. N. Barnes is the lowest and best bidder and hereby lets said eon - <br />tract for said improvement to him, and orders that sdad improvement be made with <br />concrete avementgand all proceedings heretofore had in this matter are hereby con- <br />firmed and ratified. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.
