<br />The following resAutions were adopted':
<br />STREET OR ALLEY IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NC. 961.
<br />Be It Res©lved by the Board of Public Werks of the City of South Bend,
<br />St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, that it is desired and deemed necessary to improve
<br />Michigan Street from Donmeyer Avenue to the south City Limits as follows, to -wit: -
<br />The street shall be graded and a strip twenty-four (24) feet wide in the
<br />,center of -,the street shall be paved, also the roadways of certain portions of the streets and
<br />alleys which enter or intersect said street shall be graded and paved.
<br />The paving material to be used in making said improvement shall be
<br />Portland cement concrete nine (9) inches thick in the center and seven (7) inches thick
<br />at the sides, Sheet Asphalt, Bitulithie Asphaltic concrete or brick, and the foundation.shall be-portland cement concrete six (61 inches t c for the Sheet Asphalt, bitulithic,
<br />aspphaltic concrete and brick,: or rolled gravel si: J6) inches thick for the brick; storm
<br />wafer inlets and conduits shall be constructed where necessary; all manhole tops and
<br />storm water inlets shall be set to the proper grade; marginal curb shall be constructed on
<br />each side of -the twenty four (24) feet -,strip and at all street and alley intersections
<br />where necessary, all as is more particularly shown and all in accordance with the plans,
<br />profiles, detail drawings and specifications on file in the.dffice of the Department of
<br />Public Works of'the City of South Bend, Indiana,
