<br />STREET OR ALLEY IMPROVMtENT RESOLUTION NO. 054.
<br />Be It Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,
<br />St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, that it is desired and deemed necessary to
<br />improve Irvington Avenue from Michigan Street to Fellows As follows, to -wit:-
<br />Said avenue shall be graded and the roadway thereof shall be paved; also
<br />the roadway of ertain portions of the streets and alleys which enter or intersect
<br />said avenue shall be graded and paved. The paving material to be used in making
<br />of said improvement shall be sheet asphalt, bitulithic, asphaltic concrete, brick
<br />or portland'cement concrete seven (7) inches thick, and th.e foundation shall be
<br />portland cement concrete six (6) inches thick for the sheet atspphalt, bitulthic,
<br />asphaltic concrete and brick or rolled gravel six (6) inches thick for bhe brick, ale
<br />cement curb shall be constructed along said btreet where same is necessary`and not
<br />already constructed; storm waster inlets and conduits shall be constructed where
<br />necessary, all storm water inlets and manhole tops shall be set to the proper
<br />grade; cement marginal curb shall be constructed at all street and alley intersection
<br />where necessary, all as is more particularly shaven and all in accordance with the
<br />plans, profiles, detail drawings and spedifla:tions cm file in the office of the
<br />Department of Public Works -of the City of South Bend, Indiana:.
