<br />STREET OR ALLEY IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 942.
<br />Be . it Resolved by the 'Board of Public P�orks' of the City oP =iny
<br />South Bend, St,:Jo.seph County, State of Indiana, that it is desired and 4eemed
<br />necessary to improve SOUTH MICHIGAN STREET FROM A POINT FORTY (40) FEET NORTH
<br />OF THE,'NORTH LINE OF FAIRVIEW STREET SOUTH TO THE CITY LIMITS, to -wit: -
<br />From a point forty �40)` feet north of. the. north libie of
<br />Fairview Street to the south line of Donmoyer Avenue, said street shall be graded
<br />and the roadway thereof shall be paved from curb line to curb line- from the south
<br />line of Donmoyer-Avenue to the south City limits a strip eighteen 48) feet .ride
<br />in the center of theestreet shall be paved, and grfavel shoulders three 0) feet
<br />wide and Aix (6) inches thick constructed on each side of the eighteen 18) foot
<br />pavement; also t,he•roadways of certain portions of the streets and alleys which
<br />enter or :intersect. said street shall be graded and paved.

<br />shall .Portland cement concrete nine (9� inches thick, in he center and s
<br />seven 7) inches thick at the sides; sheet €shalt, bitulithic) asphaltic -concrete

<br />thick for the sheet asphalt, bitulithic, sphaltic concrete and brick, or rolled
<br />gravel six (6). inches thick for the brick; cement curb shall be constructed from a
<br />point forty (40) feet north of the north line of Fairview Street to the south
<br />line of Donmoyer Avenue where sane is not already constructed; storm water inlets
<br />and conduits shall be constructed where necessary; all manhole tops and storm
<br />water inlets shall"be set to t e roper grade; marginal curb shall be constructed
<br />on each side ofthe eighteen �18} foot stri ! and at all street and alley inter-
<br />sections wherenecessary, all as is more particularly shown and all in accordance
<br />with_ the palsn,,, profiles detail drawings and s edifications on file in the office
