770 <br />Tuesday September 28th.01915. <br />Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.N. Kr A. H. Rice absent. <br />W. W. Sibley, Chris. Aichele and Fred P. Fatter appeared before the Board <br />and remonstrated against Staples and Ackerman putting in water connections on <br />Indiana Avenue from Miami Street to Franklin Street, as same was.not in compliance <br />with plumbing rules. The Board instructed the City Engineer to notify Staples & <br />Ackerman to stop work on same until this matter was fixed up. <br />Mrs.Ella Brown appeared before the Board and requested that a water tap <br />ebe eliminated from part of her lot No. 63 on Indiana.Avenue. The Board notified <br />Mrs. Brown it agreeablewith contractor v&o had contract for putting water taps in on <br />Indiana Avenue, that they would cancel tap from part of Lot 63 , <br />The Board ordered that the matter of the grand Trunk Western Ry. Co. <br />planking between their tracks on Di%4 sion Street this City be referred to the legal <br />✓ department for enforcement. <br />Attorney Oare appeared before the Board in regard to petition filed <br />August 31st.11915. for petition for the Vandalia Railroad Company to lay a sidetrack <br />his a alley'between Main and Lafayette Streets and Sample and Garst Streets same to be, <br />a continuation of the track now accommodating the Campbell Folding Paper Box Company. <br />The Board took said matter under advisement for one week. <br />Communication received from Lucius B. Andrus of the Indiana & Michigan <br />Elea. Company stating that an 80 C.P. street light was placed in service at the corner <br />of Walsh and Madison Street on Sept, 13,1915 Lamp No. 931. <br />Excavation bond for the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00)Dollars_. <br />signed by Thilman Brothers was approved by the Board. <br />September 29#1915. <br />To the Hon. Hill Street between Corby and Howard Street, the Board ordered that the <br />Home Telephone Company be notified to replace said poles inside of the curb. <br />
