AL WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Joseph County, the County's governing body, has or will adopt a resolution substantially identical to this resolution to effectuate the transfer of the Real Property from the Department of Redevelopment to the County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: 1. That in consideration of the sum of $6500.00 and other good and valuable consideration, the transfer of the following- described Real Property, situated in St. Joseph County: The North 74.5 feet of the following: The East 3/4 of Lot Sixteen (16) in Ann Thomas' Subdivision of Bank Out Lot 74 of the State Bank's First Addition to the City of South Bend, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Lot 16; thence North to the Northeast corner thereof; thence West 72 3/8 links; thence South to the South line of said Lot 16; thence East 72 3/8 links to the place of beginning. Commonly known as 906 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Key No.: 18- 3054 -2111; and The South Half of a lot or parcel of land bounded by a line running as follows: Beginning at a point 72 3/8 links West of the Southeast corner of Lot Numbered Sixteen (16) as shown on the recorded Plat of Ann Thomas' Subdivision of the middle part of Bank Out Lot 74 of the First Plat of Out Lots of the Town, now City of South Bend, platted by the State Bank of Indiana, thence running West 72 3/8 links; thence North to the North line of Lot Seventeen (17) in said Subdivision; thence East 72 3/8 links, thence South to the place of beginning. Commonly known as 911 West Thomas, South Bend, Key No.: 18- 3054 -2110, (hereinafter referred to as the "Real Property ") to the County of St. Joseph, Indiana, shall be, and hereby is, approved and ordered. 2. That the President and Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission shall be, and hereby are, authorized and directed to execute and deliver a quit -claim deed, execute all other documents and instruments, and take all actions necessary to effectuate the transfer of the Real Property to the County of St. Joseph. 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held May 1, 1992, at 10:00 a.m., 1200 County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
