Preemption cabling will be installed leading to <br />the new Fire Station. <br />3) Task 3 — Flashing Yellow Beacon Warning Sign Assembly Installation: This <br />task will include developing the plans for the flashing yellow beacon warning sign <br />assemblies adjacent to the new Fire Station driveway. These assemblies will be <br />positioned based on MUTCD policy and initiated by a pushbutton located in the <br />Fire Station. <br />4) Task 4 — Bid Documents: CBBEL will prepare plans and specifications for <br />bidding purposes. CBBEL will use existing aerial images as the base for the plans. <br />The project specifications will utilize INDOT standard pay items and special <br />provisions when applicable. No topographic survey will be obtained as part of this <br />project. <br />5) Task 5 -- Design Coordination with the City: CBBEL will meet the City to <br />discuss review comments on the plan submittals. The City anticipates three <br />submittals and will include 30%, 60%, and 90% plan sets. A field check is also <br />anticipated. At total of four(4) meetings have been included in this task. <br />6) Task 6 — Bidding & Construction Engineering Services: CBBEL will provide <br />"As -Needed" Bidding and Construction Engineering Services that include: <br />a) Attend a Pre -Bid Meeting <br />b) Respond to contractor questions and issue addenda (if needed). <br />c) Compile a certified bid tabulation sheet and assist City staff in analyzing the <br />bids provided for an award recommendation. <br />d) Attend the pre -construction meeting, review project submittals, and respond to <br />design questions that come up during construction. <br />b. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance <br />with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: NIA <br />c. The responsibilities of Owner are modified as follows: <br />d. For the Additional Services or the modifications to services set forth above, Owner shall <br />pay Engineer the following additional or modified compensation: <br />1) Tasks 1 through 5: $32,900 <br />2) Task 6 will be "As -Needed" based on Hourly Rates and Not to Exceed - $6,600 <br />e. The schedule for rendering services is modified as follows: <br />• Final Bid Documents — eight (8) weeks from NTP <br />f. Other portions of the Agreement (including previous amendments, if any) are <br />modified as follows: <br />5. Agreement Summary (Reference only) <br />a.
