6S12 14, VACATION RESOLUTION N0. 24:1915. Resolved'by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana:: That it is .desirable to vacate the following; A portion of Leer Court as fbllows,to- wit : - Beginning at a point on the east line of Caroline Street twenty five (25) feet north of the northerly line of the right of way of the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Ry; .measured at right angles to said right of way; thence southeasterly parallel `to and twenty five (25) feet distant from said right of way to a point due south of the east line of Lot #19 Henry Leer's Sub-Divisionof the west part if Tot #4 in the parti- tion of the estate of Samuel Leer, thence north to the south east corner of said lot # 19, thence westerly along the southerly line of lot #19 to the east line of Caroline Street, thence south to the place of beginning. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially effected by such vacation; Out Lot A. and'lot #19 in Henry I,eert_s Sub -Division of the west part of lot #4 in the Partition of the estate aC Samuel`Leen. Owned by Henry Leer and the .Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway Company. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 28th. day of May,1915 and on the 4th. day of June,1915. in the South Bend Daily Tribune, This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 22nd. day of June 1915 at 7:45 P.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. Adopted this 25th. day of May,1915. BOARD OF PUBLIC 'WORKS. Mr. Gaylord Case and Mr. Hendelman lappeared before the Board relative to having Tonti Avenue paved from Lafayette Street to Iroquois Street. The petition for same was referred to the City Engineer for investigation. ✓ Complaint received of telephone poles in front of property at 1136 South Bend Avenue. The Central Union Telephone Company was notified to remove same. L President.
