Hiring Plan It is anticipated that this annexation will not result in the elimination of jobs for employees of any other governmental entities. The Portage and Clay Township Trustees have been notified of this Annexation. SECTION III. MUNICIPAL SERVICES A. Public Works Sewer -The public sanitary sewer network is available with sufficient capacity to serve this area and more. Public sanitary sewers of varying sizes are available to serve the annexation area on the west, south and east boundaries of the area. The developer of this property will need to extend sewer lines to the site from various locations adjacent to the annexation area to the extents of this proposed development. The wastewater treatment plant and downstream collection facilities are adequately sized to handle the additional flow from any development. Revenues from the development of the site will be sufficient to provide sewage collection and treatment services to the site. Water - A 8" water main is located on Eddy Street that terminates north of Napoleon Boulevard. There is also a 6" water service on South Bend Avenue between Eddy and Twyckenham Avenue that becomes a 12" service from Twyckenham to Edison Road. The water main on Edison Road is 12" to Ivy Road. To provide water service to the annexation area, a 12" main extension is required from Ivy Road/Edison Road to Eddy Street/Napoleon Boulevard or South Bend Avenue/Twyckenham Avenue to Eddy Street/Napoleon Boulevard. Additional capacity will be required to serve the annexation area. Additional public and private expenditures will be needed to extend existing water main facilities as part of the redevelopment of the area. Extensions of, or taps into sanitary sewer and water lines shall be governed by I.C. 36-9-22-2, I.C. 8-1.5-3 and 4, and the rules and regulations of the South Bend Water Works and Sewer Utility. Street Lighting -The developer of this property will be required to install a street lighting system. Additional revenue to the General Fund from this annexation area will be sufficient to pay for street light operations. Waivers ofA,tneration - No waivers of annexation are in effect for the Annexation Area.
