0 <br />12. Parking areas shall be broken into sections <br />not to exceed 200 cars. Parking areas <br />shall be separated by a major landscaped <br />buffer to provide visual relief. <br />13. All undivided driveways shall have a <br />maximum width of twenty -two feet. <br />Divided driveways with medians shall have <br />individual lanes of no more than thirteen <br />feet in width. Medians shall be a minimum <br />of nine feet in width. <br />14. The use of parking structures is <br />encouraged. Where used, special <br />attention shall be given to the exterior <br />design of the structure so that it is <br />compatible with the building architecture. <br />The perimeter of the structure, at ground <br />level, shall be screened to hide <br />automobiles from view. <br />rw 15. Any ramp driveway exit from a parking <br />structure shall end a minimum of twenty <br />feet inside the property line. <br />Sidewalks <br />17. All parking lot and road pavement sections <br />shall be designed by a registered engineer. <br />PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE <br />CIRCULATION <br />The purpose of the Pedestrian and Bicycle <br />Circulation Guidelines is to promote free and safe <br />movement of pedestrians and bicyclists throughout <br />Blackthom. The guidelines are as follows: <br />1. Pedestrian /bicycle access shall be <br />provided from public streets (via bikepath <br />system) and parking lots to building <br />entries. <br />2. All sidewalks within the site shall have an <br />unobstructed width of at least five feet <br />(minimum width of eight feet where <br />attached to a curb adjacent to <br />perpendicular parking stalls). <br />16.
