Angela Blvd. South Bend, IN 46697 Re: Ignition Park - Accelerator Building Pre - Design South Bend, IN Dear Geri: It is a pleasure for BSA LifeStructures to submit a proposal for the architectural and engineering pre- design services for two Accelerator facilities within the Urban Forest Plaza at the center of Ignition Park. The goal of this pre- design process will be to narrow down the program and thus the cost for these facilities prior to moving on with full design services. BSA LifeStructures is confident that this process will not only better prepare the City moving forward with design but will raise the comfort level of all stake holders involved as to the form and function of the facilities. For the pre - design phase of these two 40,000 SF buildings (current assumed SF for the purpose of this proposal), as it is currently outlined in the master plan, BSA LifeStructures would propose the following fee: Pre- Design Services (Architectural and Engineering) $110,000 Reimbursable Allowance (travel and other standard reimbursables)* 5,000 Total Fee (maximum) $115,000 Veimbursables will be billed as part of the base fee up to the $5, 000 maximum. The schedule for this project has yet to be determined, but should align with the development of the remainder of the site. The goal would be to complete the pre- design prior to the end of the calendar year. If the above - referenced fee is acceptable for the work outlined, BSA LifeStructures will require an executed agreement which will be sent out after all parties agree to the scope and fee.
