We understand that the following properties are included in this second <br />group: <br />Ignition Park South Expansion Project <br />1503 -05 South Kemble <br />1513 South Chapin <br />1510 Kendall <br />1525 South Kemble <br />1518 South Chapin <br />1521 -27 Kendall <br />1527 South Kemble <br />1520 -26 South Chapin <br />1518 South Scott <br />This investigation will be for purposes of compliance with the National Emissions Standards for <br />Hazardous Air Pollutants ( NESHAPS), specifically the regulations governing asbestos in buildings to be <br />demolished. The proper language for these materials under NESHAPS is regulated asbestos - containing <br />materials (RACM), which includes friable ACM and non - friable ACM that could become friable as a <br />result of the mechanical forces acting upon them during demolition. These are referred to as NESHAP <br />Category I and II non - friable ACM. This terminology is used below. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Grauvogel & Associates will provide the services of qualified asbestos inspectors, asbestos project <br />designers, professional engineers and support staff to perform the following: <br />• conduct an inspection of each structure to identify the types and quantities of suspect regulated <br />asbestos - containing materials (ACM) present; to include friable regulated RACM and potentially <br />friable Category 1/II non - friable ACM <br />• collect sufficient samples of the suspect ACM, and provide laboratory analysis by an EPA <br />recognized laboratory to identify the ACM <br />• prepare a summary report of the types, locations and quantities of the ACM <br />• complete the appropriate sections of the IDEM Notification of Demolition and Renovation <br />Operations; provide the Notification in printed and electronic format for the use by the Commission <br />and prospective demolition contractors <br />17660 Fall Creek Drive • Granger, Indiana 46530 • Phone 574.277.4770 • Fax 574.277.5281 <br />
