MAJOR CAPITAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />FOR YEARS 2005 - 2008 <br />ENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC & LIGHTING DIVISIONS <br />Stormwater Management <br />$12,000,000 (loos-2oos> <br />Compliance with EPA's Phase II Stormwater regulations as well as with Combined Sewer Overflow <br />(CSO) charge regulations will require constant need for consulting services and design services for <br />new drainage features, controls, piping, management practice and public participation. Any capital expenditure deemed necessary as a result of the consulting <br />services will be considered as separate capital projects. <br />Miami Street Widening -Kern to Jackson $4,100,000 (200s) <br />Traffic growth requires expanded roadway and pedestrian facilities due to the nearby established <br />residential neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are projected to continue to experience future <br />growth. This <br />prof ect will be developed jointly with St. Joseph County unless additional land is annexed to the east <br />D-26 <br />
