Resolution No. L-5-1 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br />TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment <br />(Redevelopment) is the owner of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana: <br />A lot or parcel of land 8.8 feet in width, East and West, taken off of and from the entire <br />length of the West side of Lot Numbered One (1) and another lot or parcel of land 15.75 <br />feet in width, East and West, taken off of and from the entire length of the East side of Lot <br />Numbered Two (2) all as shown on the recorded Plat of Studebaker and Hine's <br />Subdivision of the Southern part of Bank Out Lot Numbered 80 of the Second Plat of Out <br />Lots of the Town, now City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, platted by the <br />State Bank of Indiana, <br />Cr (hereinafter referred to as the Real Property), and; <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 7 -14 -3, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />(Commission) is the governing body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment <br />and, pursuant to I.C. 36 -7 -14 -12.2 may dispose of the Real Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission, is desirous of transferring the property to the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, for the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, Redevelopment, acting through the Commission <br />and the City, acting by and through the Board of Public Works (Board), may exchange or transfer <br />property with one another upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as <br />evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works, at its meeting of AjQy. 12 .3 , 1998 will consider <br />its Resolution No. 93-1996 , accepting the transfer of the Real Property from the City of South <br />Bend, Department of Redevelopment <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and <br />generally described as follows: <br />A lot or parcel of land 8.8 feet in width, East and West, taken off of and from the entire <br />length of the West side of Lot Numbered One (1) and another lot or parcel of land 15.75 <br />
