South Side Development Area <br />() continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Hojnacki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the terms of an <br />Agency Agreement with the Board of Public <br />Works for infrastructure improvements in the <br />South Side Development Area. (NW corner <br />Ireland and Fellows) <br />I. Northeast Neighborhood Development Area <br />There was no business in the Northeast <br />Neighborhood Development Area. <br />J. Douglas Road Economic Development Area <br />There was no business in the Douglas Road <br />Economic Development Area. <br />K. Other <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE TERMS OF AN <br />AGENCY AGREEMENT WITH THE BOARD OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SOUTH SIDE <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA. (NW CORNER IRELAND <br />AND FELLOWS) <br />Mr. Witwer reported that PEI Genesis has started PROGRESS REPORTS <br />construction on its new 150,000 sft building in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />Mr. Witwer also reported that Cressy & Everett has <br />started excavation and grading on Lots 4, 5 and 6 on the <br />land the Commission sold them in the U.S. 31 Industrial <br />Park.. <br />Mr. Laurent gave an update on the acquisition of the <br />Norfolk Southern rail yard. In early October the <br />Commission approved the agreement to acquire the yard <br />and advised staff to begin the environmental testing <br />necessary. Some preliminary results have come in from <br />10 <br />
