South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting -August 25, 2006 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />A. Public Hearing <br />() continued... <br />promote economic development. They <br />should have the opportunity to shape a plan <br />that could improve their economic conditions <br />and opportunities. Redrawing the Blackthorn <br />TIF boundary to include the LaSalle Square <br />area is important, but it is only one step. <br />Other resources and initiatives should be <br />brought to bear to develop the LaSalle <br />Square area and other areas suffering from <br />disinvestment should receive the same <br />attention. We should build upon and support <br />the efforts of the many dedicated individuals <br />who are working to ensure equal <br />opportunities for all. <br />Ms. Greene told Mr. Wolfson his time was <br />up.
