South Bend Central Development Area <br />continue ... <br />Mr. King asked Ms. Malkovsky when <br />Bombay Boutique could be ready to open if <br />it received the space by March 31. Ms. <br />Malkovsky indicated it could be ready to <br />open by mid May. <br />Mr. Peterson noted that the Commission <br />needs to authorize the Board of Public Works <br />to act as its agent to request and receive <br />quotes for the construction work and to <br />award the work to the lowest responsive and <br />responsible bidder in an amount not to <br />exceed $35,000. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded <br />by Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized the Board of Public <br />Works to act as its agent in requesting, <br />receiving and awarding quotes for <br />preparation of the retail space at 119 S. <br />Michigan St. in an amount not to exceed <br />$35,000. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried the <br />Commission approved the Commercial Lease <br />for 119 S. Michigan St. in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area to Bombay <br />Boutique effective upon the Commission's <br />awarding of the contract to install the <br />demising wall. <br />COMMISSION AUTHORIZED THE BOARD OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS TO ACT AS ITS AGENT IN <br />REQUESTING, RECEIVING AND AWARDING <br />QUOTES FOR PREPARATION OF THE RETAIL SPACE <br />AT 119 S. MICHIGAN ST. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED $35,000. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE COMMERCIAL <br />LEASE FOR 119 S.MICHIGAN ST. IN THE SOUTH <br />BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA TO <br />BOMBAY BOUTIQUE EFFECTIVE UPON THE <br />COMMISSION'S AWARDING OF THE CONTRACT TO <br />INSTALL THE DEMISING WALL <br />6 <br />
