South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - January 19, 2001 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued... <br />The first proposal is from Specialty Systems of <br />South Bend, Inc. in the amount of $300 and the <br />second proposal is from Clean Systems, Inc. in <br />the amount of $450. Staff recommends <br />approving the proposal from Specialty Systems <br />of South Bend, Inc. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the proposal from <br />Specialty Systems of South Bend, Inc. in the <br />amount of $300 for professional services in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />b. Commission approval requested for <br />professional services in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. (Replatting of lots) <br />Mr. Mariani explained that he had received the <br />proposals just prior to the Commission meeting <br />and had not been able to look them over <br />throughly. He asked that item 6.b be tabled until <br />the next Commission meeting. There being no <br />objections from the Commission, the item was <br />tabled. <br />c. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1825 approving the transfer of <br />real property to the City of South Bend. (113 <br />Broadway) <br />Ms. Greene noted that item 6.c and 6.d transfer <br />two parcels to the City of South Bend through <br />the Board of Public Works, which will convey it <br />to American Home Dreams for construction of <br />the final houses in Phase I. <br />-4- <br />COMMISSION APPROVE THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM SPECIALTY SYSTEMS OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INC.
