South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting— November 2, 2001 <br />Company, Inc. <br />Bill Schalliol reported that United <br />Beverage submitted a proposal for the <br />purchase and development of parcels 11, <br />12, and 13 located in the northwest <br />corner of the US 31 Industrial Park in <br />the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. The proposed purchase price of <br />$330,000 is within the disposition price <br />requirements and the performance <br />guaranty has been submitted. United <br />Beverage is currently located at 840 <br />United Drive in the Studebaker Corridor. <br />They want to expand and do not have <br />room at their current location. As part of <br />the proposal, the developer requested <br />120 days for site studies. United <br />Beverage has agreed to submit a status <br />report regarding the site studies at the <br />Redevelopment Commission meeting on <br />January 4, 2001. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, <br />seconded by Mr. Faccenda and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />accepted the proposal from United <br />Beverage for the purchase and <br />development of property located in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />F. West Washington- Chapin Development Area <br />(1) No Business <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />UNITED BEVERAGE FOR THE PURCHASE AND <br />DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE <br />AIRPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />THERE WAS NO BUSINESS FOR THE SOUTH BEND <br />MEDICAL DISTRICT. <br />THERE WAS NO BUSINESS FOR THE WEST <br />WASHINGTON- CHAPIN DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />
