Airport Economic Development Area <br />(Continued...) <br />(2) Continued... <br />demolition; and installing chain link fence to <br />connect the existing fence to close off the <br />area where the house sits. <br />Three proposals were submitted. The first <br />was from Warner & Sons for a fee of <br />$11,600. The second was from Ritschard <br />Bros., Inc., for $12,620. The third was from <br />Ever —Green LTD for $12,875. The staff <br />recommended the Commission accept the <br />proposal from Warner & Sons for a fee of <br />$11,600. Staff reported that the project <br />should begin on Monday, December 10, <br />2001 and be completed within a week. <br />Mr. Hunt asked what the plan was for the <br />swimming pool. <br />Mr. Rock answered that the plan was to take <br />it out and fill in the hole. j <br />Mr. Hunt asked if Mr. Rock was aware that <br />the <br />garage door had been open for over a month. <br />Mr. Rock responded that he was aware of <br />that. He said that someone had stolen the <br />garage door. <br />Mr. Hunt clarified that Mr. Rock had said <br />that someone stole the garage door. <br />Mr. Rock confirmed that was the case, and <br />added that the reason for expediting the <br />house demolition was to protect the City and <br />the public from liability. <br />23 <br />
