PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Rock read a list of the projects completed by <br />the Commission in 2001. <br />In the Airport Economic Development Area there <br />was over $34,000,000 of private investment during <br />2001; 51 new jobs were created; 404 jobs were <br />retained due to expansions in the area; over 183,000 <br />sft of new buildings and building additions were <br />constructed; completed 4,006 linear feet of roadway <br />were constructed in the U.S. Industrial Park East <br />which opened up 75 acres of property for <br />development; completed the widening of Cleveland <br />Road Phase II from the bypass to Mayflower; <br />completed the landscaping and new steps at the golf <br />course clubhouse; completed 2,200 linear feet of <br />new road to facilitate the relocation of Gibbs Wire <br />and Tire Rack, opening up 125 acres for <br />12 <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED FOR FILING RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1856 AND SET A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1856 FOR 10:00 A.M., <br />JANUARY 2, 2002 <br />
