South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting — January 2, 2002 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />A. Public Hearing (Continued...) <br />(1) (Continued) <br />Ms. Greene noted that this resolution <br />was originally filed as Resolution <br />No. 1856 and the Public Hearing was <br />scheduled for Resolution No. 1856. The <br />legal notice was published under <br />Resolution No. 1857, a mirror resolution <br />of Resolution No. 1856. There is a <br />change in terms of resolution number, <br />however the substance of the resolution <br />is unchanged. The members of the <br />public are on notice as to the substance <br />of this resolution. <br />Ms. Greene asked that the following <br />items be entered into the record: <br />Affidavits from the Tri- County News <br />and South Bend Tribune that the Notice <br />of Public Hearing was published in those <br />newspapers on December 21, 2001. <br />Mr. Rock introduced Mr. Scott Nissley <br />and Mr. John Quickstad from Blackthorn <br />Golf Course. <br />Mr. Nissely explained that consistent <br />with past history the Blackthorn Golf <br />Course will under spend the 2001 budget <br />amounts. Adequate provisions for <br />maintaining the golf course in an <br />authentic condition is one of the <br />important goals this year. <br />Mr. Nissely added that reorganization is <br />complete.
