Airport Economic Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />Mr. Rock responded that this was one of <br />two properties purchased on Olive Road <br />last year. We need the property for future <br />right of way. After the asbestos survey is <br />completed the fire department will use it <br />for training before the building is <br />demolished. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Ms. Roemer and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the proposal from <br />Wightman Petrie Environmental for <br />professional services in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. (Asbestos <br />Survey at 52720 Olive Rd.) <br />(3) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Survey Work within the Blackthorn <br />West Corporate Park.) <br />Mr. Case reported that three quotes were <br />received for survey work at the northwest <br />corner of Vorden Court and Olive Road <br />within the Blackthorn West Corporate <br />Park. The project is being done in order to <br />fulfill a contractual agreement with Tire <br />Rack, Inc. and the City of South Bend. The <br />three bids are as follows: <br />Wightman Petrie $450.00 <br />Lang/Feeney $600.00 <br />Abonmarche $450.00 <br />22 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />WIGHTMAN PETRIE ENVIRONMENTAL FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE AIRPORT <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA.
