Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by Ms. Roemer and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Resolution No. 1877 a resolution of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission determining its intent to pay certain expenses incurred for local public improvements in or serving the Sample - Ewing Allocation Area (South Bend Allocation Area No. 8) from the Sample - Ewing Allocation Area (South Bend Allocation Area No. 8) Special Fund and setting a public hearing for Friday, May 17, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Commission approval requested for Certificate of Completion in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. (Hayes Communications, Inc.) Mr. Williams reported that the property is known as Parcel 11 B and was sold by the Commission to Hayes Communications, Inc. under a Contract For Sale of Land for Private Development. The developer has met all of his obligations under the contract including completion of improvements. Staff has determined that the landscaping is satisfactory. Staff requests approval of a Certificate of Completion.
